I’m unemployed at the moment and likely to stay that way for the immediate future, and my dolls on Etsy are not selling, so: anybody want to hire me for a commission, art or crafts? (I can’t do writing right now!)
Pricing for art pieces (examples, also here):
Character sketches €6 / $8;
with background, depending on complexity, €10 to €20 / $13.50 to $27;
additional characters €3 / $4 per character.
Inked b/w character portraits €12 / $16.50;
with background, depending on complexity, €20 to €30 / $27 to $40;
additional characters €5 / $6.50 per character.
Colour character portraits €20 / $27;
with background, depending on complexity, €30 to €50 / $40 to $54;
additional characters €10 / $13.50 per character.
Prices for Crafts (examples)
The prices on the Etsy shop are indicative, but here’s a break-down:
A mini-doll with simple clothes (a dress and trousers or a sleeveless shirt with trousers) €26 / $35
A mini-doll with complicated clothes (dress with a lot of detail and sleeves, or with trousers and a sleeved shirt and jacket) €33 / $45
A felt mini animal or mini dragon €17.50 / $24
A set of 4-5 finger puppets €22 / $30
For other sorts of commissions, we can negotiate.
For originals, if you want them, shipping will also be paid by the buyer.
Payment should be half upfront. (It used to be all post-delivery, but I got burned.)
