I recently reread Unseen Academicals and wanted to try my hand at drawing some of the characters since I haven’t before. It isn’t my favorite Discworld book by far—my main deal with it is that the plot isn’t very coherent, and it has some problematic issues. But I liked Glenda and Juliet’s friendship, Dr. Hix (my favorite background wizard!), the UU faculty being…itself, Vetinari starting to really enjoy himself as he gets older, and Ponder and Ridcully’s interaction (I’m very fond of Ponder’s development too; he seems to have really settled into UU at last, the wild hurly-burly that it is).

Anyway, here are the girls and a Trev and a Nutt (the design is Tealin’s entirely I think, haha) and, quite unexpectedly, a Ponder Stibbons and a Ridcully wearing his old team shirt with the very smart-looking double U’s. I would’ve liked to fit in a Bengo Macarona purely for the chance to include his full list of titles in the tags, but alas.
