See, cats saw what happened to cattle, equines, and canines that allowed and walked with straps on their bodies. HELL NO they weren’t pulling lazy humans around. Hence the drag technique.
My first cat was like this. The only thing the strap was good for was transporting the cat without a carry box, because she couldn’t run away if I held on to the strap and she could travel on top of my bag. But then I was told I wasn’t allowed to do that. I’m sure the cat actually preferred my shoulder to the box, and it sure was easier for me.
